HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
Wow… 2014 flew by so quickly and I’m so excited for this new year and all that is to come! While I’m still working up a blog to wrap up my year, I’ve got a few more 2014 sessions to blog for you all! :)
One of them is of a beautiful family I had the opportunity of photographing! Once in a while, I have the opportunity to donate a portraits session for various events I support and am a part of! This past year, I donated a session towards helping raise funds for youth kids to attend a youth camp our church holds called Revamp (learn more about it here)! During the servant auction, the sweet Wheelersburg family purchased my services and helped give a scholarship to one of the youths! It took a while, but when both of our schedules lined up, we finally met to redeem their session!
Lindsay and Jeremiah met in their hometown in Colorado in a young adults Bible study! The two of them hit it off, got married and had sweet little Emery! I hadn’t known them too well prior to the session, but it was so great getting to spend time with them! One thing was very clear to me during their session–they had such a beautiful love for one another, and for their darling daughter!
We met early one morning on the beautiful campus of the Calvary Chapel Bible College since it was a mutual location we could both meet at! Sometimes I get nervous about working with young children because as much as I love them and get excited working with them, I’m always just a tad bit nervous I’m going to scare them with my enthusiasm, or make them cry! Haha! Thankfully, Emery liked my silliness and funny noises and we had a great start! :)
Emery was so full of smiles! I loved how naturally sweet the three of them were together! It was so easy to capture sweet candid moments such as these throughout the session! :)
The next two shots are two of my favorites! I love how happy Emery is! She had so much fun with this!

As we walked down by the lake, Emery was quickly captivated by the little duckies waddling around!
I’m pretty sure if Emery could talk, she would’ve been saying “Look how cute the duckies are!!!”
While Emery waddled off to waddle along with her little friends, I got to take a portrait of her gorgeous parents! :)

After we played with the duckies, we found some great Fall leaves!
Gosh! What a photogenic family!
Emery kept giving me all the leaves and rocks she was picking up! Okay, so I asked for them but she was so quick to give them to me! What a generous child! ;)
I loved seeing her interact with her parents! So, so sweet!
And with an Eskimo kiss given to both her mom & dad, we concluded our family session! :)
THANK YOU JEREMIAH, LINDSAY & EMERY! I had so much fun with the three of you, and getting to know a little bit more of you all and your love for one another & for the Lord! May God bless you three on your new adventures this year!
