Before I share this wonderful session I had with Chris & Priscilla, I thought I’d show some of the behind-the-scene shots that happened  while we were on our shoot! Here’s a small glimpse of what happens behind the scenes during an e-session! ;)

When I test things out around the locations, as you might have seen in my previous  “How I Location Scout” post (click here), I often times use my second shooter (who is usually John), to test out the lighting and how the background looks! These unposed photos of John made me laugh! haha

 

 

 

Now more often than not, my clients don’t know now to pose! But have no fear! I’ll be there to help you along the way! You might not know how a pose looks like as you’re doing it, but I’ll help make sure you look your best during your shoot! :)

 

 

 

 

Part of my goal during sessions is to make sure my clients have fun! :) I think a big part of what makes engagement sessions memorable is the experience that comes with it!

Priscilla wanted to get close to a peacock at the Arboretum! So why not? ;)

 

 

 

 

She also really loved these small purple blooming trees! So she got up close and personal! ;)

 

 

 

 

I love having a great second shooter! Because he not only lets me use him to set up shots, he also helps me take shots at times, and I can trust him to get what I need! :)

 

 

 

 

And again, it’s all about the experience! I was so thankful to have such wonderful friends as clients! They got me & John some of the tasty treat from 21 Choices that we used during the shoot! :) YUM! I love getting to enjoy my sessions with my clients!

 

 

 

Along with actually capturing moments between couples, witnessing their love, and being able to be behind the camera, I absolutely love interacting with my clients! After all, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do if they didn’t entrust me with their portraits and photos! :)
