A lot of members in my family have July birthdays! This past weekend was my dear Grandpa Bill’s birthday! We decided to throw him a small mini-birthday party while he stayed with us! :) Unfortunately, my Grandma Kathy couldn’t come with him, since she had to stay home and look after their children (a handful of cats and dogs). We bought some pizza and the delicious chocolate cake from Costco, and called over some family! :) It was filled with swimming, laughs, Angry Birds, and just spending a nice afternoon with one another! :) Happy Birthday Grandpa Bill!!

This is one of my favorite cakes! It’s SO unbelievably moist and rich, and at an unbeatable price at Costco! :) I’m pretty sure I will have this cake featured two more times: once again for my Dad’s birthday (if I don’t make one), and again probably for my own! If you haven’t tried it yet, and LOVE chocolate, you better get into your car and get on your way to Costco! I guarantee that it will satisfy anyone’s chocolate crave! Only thing is, a thin slice will last you for a couple hours because of how rich it is! :) But I can’t complain! Paired with vanilla ice cream and this is perfect. :)

 

What else is there to do on a hot day, but to swim! :)
