Banana Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Like oatmeal cookies? Like Bananas? This is the recipe for YOU.

It’s the second month of the new year, and as it also began a new chapter in my life, I have decided to make a commitment to become more disciplined in many areas in my life: how I spend my time, how I manage my schedule, how I treat my body, etc. In a sense it’s my New Year’s Resolution, although I don’t really like to use that term, since those often times fail. Like many people, I am trying to eat healthier. It isn’t to “look good” and I’m not really trying to prepare for the summer as many people do… that motivation never works for me… HAH. My sweet tooth overrules that. But, I am trying to improve my health, truly, as I have come to see some health concerns striking up in my life and in the lives of those around me. This has proven to be quite the challenge as I have that sweet tooth I was talking about. So I’ve been in search of healthier substitutes for the things I love that don’t make me feel guilty (not that I really ever felt TOO guilty for eating cookies and ice cream and cake… but it keeps me from feeling too bad.. HAHA)

I found this recipe on Pinterest (LOVE IT). It’s for oatmeal cookies and it only requires 2-3 ingredients (depending on if you want to add chocolate chips, raisins, etc.! & It’s pretty darn healthy!  Let me share this with you all! :)
