Over eight years ago, I befriended a crazy guy named Josh at church. He’s actually the first few people who taught me how to use my camera (or my dad’s camera at the time) properly! I came to know him as a great brother in Christ with a servant’s heart, but also as one of the most ridiculous people I know! Haha! A couple years later he met his beautiful wife, Laura, who is just one truly amazing woman! She is an absolutely beautiful sister in Christ that I have come to know and love, and I am so thankful for the friendship I have come to have with her (even though she laughs at me so much)! To this day, I cannot believe Josh married such a catch! ;) (Just kidding Josh, you’re great too! Haha)

Well three years after their wedding, I am once again so incredibly full of joy for this sweet couple, because they added a beautiful baby girl to their family–Avenly! :)

Since Josh & Laura live in Washington, I met Avenly for the first time a couple weeks ago and fell in love with her! Avenly is the sweetest baby girl! She has such a friendly personality, and she’s already trying to talk up a storm! At 4 months old, she is just adorable! I cannot wait to get to play with her as she grows up! Currently, I have discovered that her favorite pastimes are: playing with her tongue, playing with her feet, sticking things in her mouth, and babbling!

Before I say more, let’s just dive into this mini session I had with her and her beautiful family! :)

 

 

 

 

Avenly got some photos with Josh’s side of the family during the session! Unfortunately, her Uncle Phil, Josh’s middle brother, wasn’t able to attend the session, but we had a fun time with Josh’s family! :)

 

 

 

 

Once his family left, I was then able to photograph Avenly with her loving parents. It’s so awesome seeing Lauara and Josh as parents! You can tell how much they love their daughter!

 

 

 

 

Avenly is so silly! It was about time that she started playing with her tongue again! :P

 

 

 

 

 

Her smile is so contagious! :) Laura shared that she’s currently still learning how to laugh! So cute!

I’m not very fond of feet… but I must say, baby feet are an exception! They are so small and cute! :)

 

 

 

 

By the end of the session, Avenly was just as silly as ever–and hungry! Caught this shot as I started packing up to go! Haha so sassy! :)

 

 

 

 

 

I had such a fun time getting to spend time with Laura, Avenly and Josh! They are such a beautiful family and I cannot be more thrilled than I already am for them and their little sweet baby girl! :)
