My Mini Session | Monterey Park, CA

My Mini Session | Monterey Park, CA

Once again, I have found myself taken captive in front of the camera for a mini grad session in celebration of well my completion of my B.A. in Sociology! Sociology, Margarette? That has nothing to do with photography! Why did I choose to study sociology? Well.. I love working with people, and I find it interesting to see how other people and influences can affect one person! I loveeee photography! But I definitely love the people I photograph way more. :)

I am quite particular with how I like my photos taken, so instead of getting them done by another photographer, I had  John take them for me on my camera! That way, I could edit them afterwards! Hehe :) If you haven’t heard of John before, he is a talented graphics designer you can check out at www.JohnKwok.com. He does invitations and also logo work and other things!

We went to a park in his home town that his sister recommended to us because we were pretty far from UCR! Here are a couple from the shoot of.. me!

For those of you who do not know what “Soli Deo Gloria” means, it is a Latin term for “glory to God alone.” :)

And here are a few of John I managed to take in between the shots. HAHA Enjoy!

In this first one, I dropped my tassel in the street as we were crossing! Thank God that I could see it from the sidewalk!

I asked John to show me poses that he thought girls tend to do. This is what he came up with. HAHA

I also wanted to give a shout out to my wonderful AACF family who, while I was away from my loving family at home, have been such great brothers, and sisters, and advisers. I am SO grateful that God placed each one of you into my life! I would not have been able to get through the past couple of years of college without the encouragement and blessings that you guys have been to me. :) AACF holds a very dear place in my heart! I LOVE YOU ALL! :)
